Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Bhatia Builders & Developers Pvt. Ltd. (“Bhatia Group”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use this website, send us an enquiry or apply to work with us. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the information described here.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If anything here is unclear, please write to us — the details are at the end of this page.
Information you give us
We collect personal information only when you choose to share it — through a form on this site, or by email, phone or WhatsApp. Depending on the form, that is:
Site visit requests — your name, email address, phone number, the project and the date and time you would like to visit.
Brochure requests and the newsletter — your email address, and the project you asked about.
NRI enquiries — your name, email address, country of residence and your message.
Society redevelopment proposals — your society’s name and address, the number of existing units and the year the building was built, the contact person’s name, role, email address and phone number, any notes you add, and the documents you upload.
Enquiries from a 3D walkthrough — your name, how to reach you, and a summary of the residence and rooms you viewed, so our team can pick up where your visit left off.
Job applications — your name, email address, phone number, the role you are interested in, your CV, and a cover letter or portfolio if you add one.
Please don’t send us sensitive information we haven’t asked for — such as bank details or identity documents — through the website.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, some information is collected without you typing anything:
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how people move through the site and which enquiries are completed. It uses cookies and records information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and how you arrived. We never send your name, email address or phone number to Google Analytics.
Site health. To find and fix problems, the site reports errors and page-speed measurements — for example how quickly a page loaded, your connection type and screen size — to our own servers, tagged with a random session identifier. These reports never include your name or contact details.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting and network providers record technical details such as your IP address, browser and the time of each request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Cookies and your device
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics (their names begin with “_ga”). You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fully without them.
Unsent enquiries. If your connection drops while you submit a form, the enquiry is kept in your browser’s local storage and sent automatically when you are back online. It is removed as soon as it is delivered, or after 24 hours.
Faster repeat visits. The site keeps its code, fonts, images and 3D models in your browser’s cache. These files contain no personal information, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How we use your information
To answer your enquiry, arrange and confirm site visits, and send you the brochures you ask for.
To keep you informed about the projects you enquired about — by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp.
To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
To consider job applications and society redevelopment proposals, and to reply to them.
To understand how the website is used, to measure how our marketing performs, and to keep the site secure and working.
To meet our legal obligations — including under real-estate regulation (RERA) and tax law — and to establish or defend legal claims.
When you give us your phone number with an enquiry, you agree that we may call, message or WhatsApp you about that enquiry, even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Your consent
We process the information you submit on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and for the legitimate uses the law allows — such as complying with a legal obligation.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@bhatiabuilders.com. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did before, but we may no longer be able to help with your enquiry.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
With the service providers who run this site for us — website hosting and content delivery, database hosting, cloud storage for the files you upload, email delivery, map display and analytics. They process information on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
With banks or home-loan providers, only if you ask us to connect you with them.
With our professional advisers — such as lawyers and chartered accountants — where your enquiry or purchase needs them.
When the law requires it — to comply with a court order, a regulator (including MahaRERA) or other legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
In a business transfer — if all or part of our business is merged, sold or restructured, in which case this policy continues to protect your information.
Where it’s stored, and for how long
Our service providers may store and process information on servers in India and in other countries. Wherever it is processed, we require it to be protected as this policy describes, and we transfer it only as Indian law permits.
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it for, or for as long as the law requires — for example for tax, accounting or RERA records. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it — to protect the information we hold.
No transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
Access — ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
Correct and complete — ask us to fix anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
Erase — ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
Withdraw consent — at any time, for anything we do on the basis of your consent.
Seek redress — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer and, if you aren’t satisfied with our response, with the Data Protection Board of India.
Nominate — name someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, write to privacy@bhatiabuilders.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. If you live outside India, you may have further rights under your local law; write to us and we will help.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
This site links to services we don’t control — such as WhatsApp, social networks, map providers and the MahaRERA website. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and the updated version applies from that date. We encourage you to review it now and then.
